Switzerland is where it all started for The Baseballs - here, Sam, Digger and Basti first succeeded with their now famous trademark of Voc 'n' Roll music.

On the 9th of June 2011, the grand finale of the "Youtube Secret Talent 2011" will be held in Cologne, Germany. Besides the six finalists, the event boasts performances of comedians and live-acts. Among the artists performing that night are The Baseballs, who will perform their single "Candy Shop" from the new album "Strings 'n' Stripes". The Baseballs cover Guus Meeuwis / Live Dates

Fans of The Baseballs in Holland will be pleased to learn that the Berlin band collaborated with Holland's very own Guus Meeuwis. Following the typical Baseballs approach, Guus’ No. 1 debut single "Het Is Een Nacht" has been transformed into the swinging rock 'n roll version "This Is A Night". The song is also featured on the Deluxe Version of the new Guus Meeuwis album "Armen Open", which is out in stores from May 13.

New album "Strings 'n' Stripes" released

Their first album "Strike!" is a tremendous success story and took half of Europe as well as Australia by storm, now The Baseballs are ready to do it again: the second album of the Berlin band, titled "Strings 'n' Stripes", is being released in their native country Germany today. Several other countries are to follow very soon.

Single "Hello": now available in Germany

Ladies and Gentlemen … lift the curtains: "Hello", the first single off the new album "Strings 'n' Stripes" (release date: 15. of April) is now available in Germany. For their latest effort, Sam, Digger and Basti opted to work on what was originally a club hit by French House DJ Martin Solveig, and give it an irresistible Voc'n'Roll touch.  "Hello" is released as a 2Track-Single and comes additionally with the song"Follow Me".

The anticipation is rising … in only a few weeks time, the second album "Strings ‘n’ Stripes" by The Baseballs is seeing the light of the day. On the occasion of that, The Baseballs would like to meet you beforehand - and learn from you before everyone else out there how you like their new album. In order to do so, the band is going to hold an exclusive Meet & Greet in Hamburg/Germany on the 7th of April.

Because not only the band got news about the win of the german ECHO award for "Most Successful International Act Abroad" last night, but also, the first music video "Hello" from the upcoming album "Strings 'n' Stripes" (release date 15.04.) celebrates its premiere today.

They did it, again! After already scoring an ECHO, the most important music prize in Germany, last year as "Newcomer National", The Baseballs get bestowed another ECHO this year, this time stepping it up yet another level: ECHO 2011 for "Most Succesful National Act Abroad", is the outstanding result of this year's awards.

Get ready for round two: after The Baseballs took both Europa and overseas by storm with their debut "Strike!", the Berlin band now has a new album in the pipeline: "Strings 'n' Stripes" will see the light of the day on the 15th of April.On their latest effort, Sam, Digger , and Basti are keeping up their tradition of taking well known hit songs and breathing a good deal of Rock'n'Roll life into them. Among the songs covered on "Strings 'n' Stripes"are "California Girls" (Katy Perry), "Quit Playing Games" (Backstreet Boys), and "Paparazzi" (Lady Gaga).
